My Evaluation.
Question 1)
Question 2)
Question 3)
The media institution that would distribute my magazine would be one that was interested in producing a magazine to my target audience, teenagers. Publishers such as ipc media and emap would publish my magazine these are three of the UK's biggest magazine publishers.
Considering there is a limited amount of pop magazines, my target audience which is females from the ages 13-19.
Question 4)
Question 6)
Question 7)
Looking back to my preliminary task, I feel I have learned a lot, when I look at my preliminary, it seems dull and I know just how I would fix it if I were to go back now, I realise that it looks nothing like a real magazine, it has no real mese en scene, no correct mode of address and I don't have a very limited amount of images. I feel as though I have learnt a lot in my progression from my preliminary task up to now, slowly but surely I have got used to using the different programmes such as Photoshop and Quark and feel I got a lot of new skills. Therefore looking back at my preliminary task, I have progressed hugely after creating my media product.

Article for my double page spread
has had one hell of a journey through her pop career, as you probably know already Britney went a bit off the rails and shaved her head. She lost the plot a little which is understandable with all the pressure she is under. She brought out the song “Piece of me” which in my opinion was a brilliant come back, the lyrics included “I guess I can’t see the harm in workin’ an bein a mama” She is basically saying I am back and this is why I am back and I am not ashamed of who I am. Which is why Britney is who she is today, the legendary Britney Spears who isn’t scared of anything and will always make a come back! She also says in the song “I’m Mrs She’s too big now she’s too thin” proving that no matter what she does she is either disgustingly fat or anorexic.
When she is eating something, the paparazzi are straight on her saying she is putting on weight and giving up on herself, when poor Brit has only taken a bad picture like we all do once in a while. “If she’s a size 14 she is “fat” and if she is a size 6 she is too thin!” Fan described her as “an inspiration” and another fan said “I know she has had her ups and downs in the past but it is understandable after all the pressure she has been put under and the stress of it all, also she can’t do anything without being criticized”. Britney must have very thick skin after all the hat she has been put through and all the things that have been said to criticize what she does. Past the fame and beauty it must be a hard life for Brit.
. She has gone from innocent teen with hair in piggy’s and long socks, to the girl next door type, to sexy Brit with dance moves to die for, to caring mother trying to get on with her career, to elegant and upper-class. And now Britney is just living her life with a huge pop career still going strong, but what will Britney do next? Will it be good? Bad?
What an achievement. And that is why Britney Spears is the queen of pop, never letting anyone down with her songs. She has gone through a huge and inspiring journey through pop over the years and is an inspiration to anyone. Britney has had a tough life with the things people have said about her and it must really hurt and she must have very thick skin. Especially when you’ve got to look as glamorous as Britney Spears. She is not perfect, but then again who is? So give it up for Britney and show your appreciation at www.craze.com/BritneySpearsAppreciation it’s time we gave the once was princess and now QUEEN of pop a break. She is a fantastic icon and an inspiration to us all. A huge pop star and a woman to be proud of, it can’t have been easy doing a whopping 152 songs! -What a woman!

Analysis of double page spread.
Analysis of contents page.
Analysing front covers.
The artist on the front is extremely well known and therefore makes is familiar to the target audience and can relate with the magazine. The subsidiary images are pictures of Michael Jackson when he was a little boy. These are smaller because they may not appeal to the audience as much as the cover image would.
The colour scheme is yellow, red, blue and black. And is quite simple.
The masthead at the top is big, bold and bright red. This suggests it is very important, and needs to stand out, and straight to the point.
The buzzword 'FREE' has been used in a subsidiary image, to show there is a free double page poster.
It is obvious it is informal because of the language and images used.
